Flaco Productions was founded in 2000 and has since its inception produced a lot of music events around Stockholm. What initially started as a clothing distribution company, under the name of Flaco Distribution, quickly settled into becoming the music event company as it is today.
Miguel Pizarro, founder and owner of Flaco Productions, joined the hip-hop group Nuff Mente in the mid 90’s. After the group was dissolved, he switched to DJ/host/promoter at clubs and hip-hop Jams around Stockholm under the name DJ Flaite. In 2003 he started together with Petter, Robert and Ricardo Club Yes! on Mosebacke to help both new and older hip hopes to get a place on the Stockholm scene.
At the beginning of the 2000s there were largely no clubs/venues who wanted to book hip-hop artists or urban acts, so we saw that there was an opportunity to both help hip-hop/Urban artists and at the same time fill the void that existed on the Swedish music scene – Miguel Pizarro
In 2009, Miguel felt he was ready with Yes! and left it to start the project Classiks together with Petter, DJ Sleepy and Patrick “P.O.” Ohlsson. It was a short-lived project focused on classic hip-hop acts like Pete Rock & CL Smooth, Lords Of The Underground and a DJ night at Berns with Bobbito Garcia and the Rich Medina. After Classiks, Miguel started booking artists in his company Flaco Productions.

During the summer of 2014, Flaco Productions was responsible for all music bookings at Lydmar Hotels “Lydmar Summer Sessions” featuring artists such as The Underachievers, Soulection (Joe Kay, Esta, The Whooligan, Mr. Carmack, IAMNOBODI, Andre Power, Lakim GoldLink, Sango & Waldo) and two days of Funk with DaM-FunK, which also continued in the summer of 2015 & 2016.
Flaco Productions was also responsible for all music bookings at the Strandvägen 1 restaurant (2014-2016), featuring artists such as Tuxedo, B.Bravo, J.Rocc & Lefto and Blacknuss + many more.
Flaco Productions is my own company, the name Flaco was use by my father in his younger days.
